Moon purred as she strode along the forest floor. It was a nice day, a little hot, but it was beautiful. She was thankful that her clothes were light and what some would call skimpy. But she didn't care: when you lived on your own, you didn't have to care what other people thought. Everyone in the nearby town was an oddity anyway: elves, demons, wizards, werewolves, vampires, etc. There were many creatures around. Being a werewolf herself, she enjoyed the outward human appearance. The light clothes were light enough to not break every time she changed. But, they usually fell off anyways. With a sigh, she pulled her hair back into a pony and headed towards the town along the dirt path. It was well-worn from cart tracks and horse hooves. But she needed a beer after the hell of a night she had had. And a little teasing of the men was always fun.

Grubey sat at the town pub having a beer and a bite to eat. He was hunched over a bit, trying to keep a low profile. He was pretty new to town and was still a bit skittish, though his face didn't show it.

Moon pressed her way into the pub and slide towards the bar, pressing her chest onto the counter. She smiled at the bartender, "Give me one, Ali," she purred. The elf nodded and turned to fill a cup before sliding in towards her and turning to tend to the next customer. She turned to face the relatively filled bar. It was a typical friday night, tables filled with various people. She eyed the crowd, scanning the familiar faces... until she spotted an unfamiliar one. Striding her way across the floor, she slid into the chair on the other side of the table from the man, hunched to hide his face. She leaned forward, trying to see who he was, "I haven't you here before."

Grubey moved his large brown eyes to look at the new, feminine voice, "I'm new in town. I found work at the blacksmiths." he said, friendly enough but only saying so much.

Moon smiled, "So what brought you to the town? The sights? The people?" she pressed her chest towards the table, "There's quite the selection of things to choose from. Vampires, wizards, elves, werewolves. You could buy anyone or anything that your heart desires hun. You looking for something special?"

Grubey turned his full head to Moon. He paused to take in the beauty in front of him and then replied, "Only those that could accept me." he said, turning back to take a drink.

Moon opened her mouth to say something but stopped. She pulled back, "That trick normally works... you alright, hun?"

Grubey looked to her with a confused look on his face, "Yeah, I'm fine. Happy to be in a very diverse place I'd say." He said, looking to the diverse people at the bar.

Moon took a swig from her own drink, and looked around, "You're right about being diverse. Most people come here looking for some sort of uniqueness. Speaking of which, what sort of unique are you?"

"I'm a half breed of two species that don't typically produce a child. I'll let you guess which ones." Grubey said, downing his mug with ease, "Another one please." he said.

Moon pushed her glass towards him, offering it, "It's hard to know when you wont let me see your face fully." she leaned her face on to her hand and squinted to try and focus her vision on him, "I normally can smell out any breed in this place. But you, you're different that's for sure..."

Grubey sighed and turned his body towards her. He unhunched himself and almost seemed to grow larger. He had a beard and while not clean it wasn't as burly as a dwarf's. He looked heavy but not so much that it hindered him and under the bulk could be muscle.

Moon watched him, her green eyes tracing his face. She bit her lip as she thought, “Dwarf? And the opposite of dwarf would be elf.” Her eyes squinted, “Though I suppose you could very well be part giant with your size.”

"You're hitting close notes." Grubey said, "Half Giant and half Elf." he said, drinking some of the lady's drink.

“Now, this May sound rude, but I’ve always been curious,” Moon smiled, “Are giants still proportional, y’know, down there?” Her voice curled in a purr as she met his eyes with excitement.

Grubey rolled his eyes, "Before I answer that question, you will answer mine: What is your name?" he asked, moving Moon's mug towards her again.

“I suppose that’s not a question I expected. My name is Moon. You can probably guess why.” She turned to look back around the room. The place was filling with more people. With a quick move she grabbed the mug and took a large drink.

Grubey smiled, "Good to know. To answer you, yes, it is true. Though exaggerated a bit." he added, as his new drink came.

Moon polished off her drink and set the mug back down. She smiled and stood up, “I’ll see you around town big guy.” She purred before heading towards the door

Grubey watched her go, enjoying the view, "See you." he said, turning back to the bar, drinking his beer.
