Ridley moved his gaze from the city streets to the woman who just entered. Even more interesting than the waitress, but probably not as interesting as the source of the power shock. He stood up, leaving a few bills on the table. "Hello miss, you look a little lost. First time in the big city?"
Serafina looked up at her boss and looked out the small window of the front door. "Don't know. Pretty harsh though. Whatever it was, it was caused by someone or something very powerful Milo."
Agatha stood up, using one of the dumpsters to help her. She held her head and looked around. As she took a step, she felt sick and looked down the alley where people were rushing up and down the sidewalk in stange clothes.

Yawe looked at him from top to bottom and back up. "And you are?" She crossed her arms, unimpressed. She'd been warned that con men and swindlers prospered in the cities. Her security guard stepped up beside her but she waved him to stand down for now.
Milo looked worriedly out the window. "Think trouble's brewing?" He asked with a grimace. "Gods forbid Baba Yaga comes back or something." He muttered.
Leopold slowly got to his feet and looked around. No shield, no sword. Great. Things were just great. He sighed, exhausted, and used the wall as support.

Ridley smirked at her. "I am Ridley Brooks, man for hire. I'll do just about anything someone'll pay for." He glanced at the bodyguard with an apprieciative glance. "Though, showing a beautiful woman, and her equally attractive man servent, around town, that is a service I will do for free."
Serafina giggled and walked out from behind the counter. "C'mon boss, I don't think it's Baba Yaga big. But, maybe you should go take a look or something, felt pretty close. What harm could it do?"
Agatha took a few breaths and kept staring at the people, trying to get her barrings. Her eyes fell on a peice of... some form of writing on the ground and picked it up. At the top appeared to be a date, a date very far from the time she was born into. "Dash it all..."

Yawe snorted. "I see. And what, do pray tell, do you gain with that?" She asked bluntly.
Milo sighed. "I guess... Be right back." He told her with a smile and exited the shop. Turning into a black cat, he paced down the street to where he felt the magical surge coming from. He found himself in an alley. Sniffing around, he suddenly saw a beautiful young woman, apparently reading some paper. He sat there, watching her.

"Well, that depends on you, or your manservent. But I don't see how I can lose when in such attractive company." He leaned closer to her and winked. "But if you don't need my services today, maybe I should leave you my card."
Agatha threw the paper down and rested against the dumpster. "Damn that Leopold! When I find him I will finally put him to his grave... And then I will find how to return to my coven." She glanced around and started walking. "The future smells terrible."

Yawe raised an eyebrow. "I see. So you are that kind of guide. Thanks but no thanks. Not really into getting an STD or something." She replied.
Milo pawed his way to stand in her way. Looking up at her, he mewled adorably.

Ridley smiled at her. "Well, if that's how you feel, then I'll see you around my lady." He pretended to tip his imaginary hat at her. "For your information, I don't have any STDs." Then he walked out of the coffee shop and looked around before he merged into the moving crowd.
Agatha stared down at him. She bent down. "Human, in animal form." She mused before she reached out and scratched his head. "Following me?"

Yawe sighed. "I hope there aren't many more people like this around." She commented to the bodyguard. He grunted his agreement.
Milo pressed into the touch, closing his eyes and purring. "Not following, no. Just curious. There was a huge magic spike just now and so I wanted to find out what happened. I am guessing you are the culprit?" He asked.
Leopold took a few steps forward, nearly reaching what looked like a larger, yet deserted, street. Stumbling forward with dizziness, he fell flat on his belly with a pained grunt and hurled off to the side. "God, this is embarrassing..."

"I supose so..." She stood up straight and held her head. "The magical burst took a lot out of me... is there some place less filthy..."
Ridley turned onto the empty street that he lived on, pulling out his phone to check his emails. "Fuck it, I'm so broke. Maybe I should start selling my body..." He passed an alleyway, and then took a few steps backwards, looking down at a man in full armor. "I'm going to regret this... Yo bro, you good down there?"

Milo rubbed himself against her chins, whispering a Detection charm so he could find her again if he lost her. He was not going to let her escape. But right now, he had to get her to the shop. "If you want, you can take a shower and get some new clothes at my place." He suggested with an innocent look.
Leopold looked up to see a young man staring at him. "I... I'm fine. Help me up please." He told him, trying to get up.

She nodded, but looked at him disapprovingly. "Just so you are aware, if you try anything my dear little kitten, I know of magics someone like you would kill to learn."
Swearing again, Ridley rushed over to his side. He twirled his finger and a red light shone under the Leopold helping him to his feet gently. "You look rough dude. And you're dressed like you just fell out of the 16th century."

Milo gave her a Cheshire Cat like grin. "I wouldn't even dream about trying something against someone so beautiful." He replied and trotted off, leading the way to the shop.
16th century...? "W-What year is it...?" Leopold asked, leaning heavily against the wall and rubbing his face.

She followed him slowly, rolling her eyes and holding her side. She was slow to walk. Her eyes fell on everyone on the street, wondering on the state of the world, and of magic.
"2015" Ridley stared at him, looking over his armor. "Dude, you actually came from the 16th century, didn't you?"

Milo led her all the way to the shop, patiently waiting for her to catch up. Once he was at the door he shifted back to his human form, entering. "Hey Serafina. We have ourselves a guest." He told her, nodding towards the young woman behind him. "Teach her how the shower works will you? She may also need some new clothes. Think you can lend her some while we don't go shopping?"
Leopold sighed. "Last time I knew, it was the year of Our Lord of 1597." He mumbled. He then looked at the younger youth. "Stop staring. Do you have a place where I can rest up?" He asked.

Serafina stared at the woman, then at her boss. "Sure thing boss, though I'm not sure my clothes will fit. Mysterious woman have a name, or should I just make up one for her?" Agatha stared at her and tilted her head. "Agatha Talbot. Now please take me to this shower thing, whatever it is." The younger girl nodded and showed her upstairs, before throwing a notebook at Milo. "These things need restocked."
Ridley snorted, walking back onto the main street. "Your lord maybe... but yeah. You can grab a shower and I probably have something that'll fit you. Wearing metal around this city, gunna get yourself killed."

Milo caught the notebook in mid-air and nodded. "Thanks." He smiled warmly at his employee and friend. She was incredible. He sat down behind the counter and started ordering the restocks she told him about on the shop computer.
Leopold raised an eyebrow, following him. "What is this... shower you speak of?" He asked.

Serafina came down a few minutes later, soaking wet. She walked over to the counter, looking angry as she whispered at him. "Agatha Talbot are you crazy? Are you trying to get us killed?"
Ridley just groaned. "Oh yeah, I'm definetely going to regret this." He didn't say anything else as he walked over to a building, the door opened as he flicked his wrist.

"Wait. Who's that?" Milo asked, raising an eyebrow. "And why are you soaking wet? I know she's cute but I didn't know you worked that fast." He joked with a smirk.
Leopold grew a bit tense when the door opened but followed the red-haired man... no. He wasn't a man yet. The red-haired boy. He followed the red-haired boy inside. "So these are your quarters?" He asked, looking around.

"Agatha Talbot. Do you not read? Can you read?" She groaned in frustration and held out her hand, a leather bound book landed on the counter and opened to a page with a picture of a woman that looked like the woman who was in their shower was holding a blade to a peasant's throat. "She was only the most dangerous witch ever written about. She disappeared near the end of the 16th century."
"Nope, up the stairs. Apartment 3c." He stepped onto the first step. "Don't prepare to be impressed. It's a shithole, unfortunately."

"Oh. That Agatha Talbot. I knew the name was familiar." Milo scratched his head. "So I guess now we know where she disappeared off to, huh?" He smiled innocently.
Leopold nodded, following him. "Right now, anything would be a blessing." He mumbled tiredly.
